Commissioned Artwork

Marra Dreaming have a range of artists in residence who have been commissioned to do a number of projects over the years. Some of these special projects we have worked on are:

Murals

We specialise in the commission of specific Aboriginal artworks for events and initiatives for organisations. Our artists are very experienced at designing and creating artworks in collaboration with the client to suit most themes. We have done commission work for City of Salisbury, Lyell McEwin Emergency Department, Holden Hill Community Centre, Gawler Health Service, Northern Women's Health Centre, Salisbury High School. We can paint directly onto a wall of your choice, onto large removable panels or onto a custom-sized canvas.

Digital Art

Some of our clients have been Northern Adelaide Medicare Local- Closing The Gap Initiative, Northern Domestic Violence Service, Australian Service Excellence Program, RANZCOG (The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists)- Indigenous Women's Health Conference, RANZCOG- Reconciliation Action Plan, University of South Australia and Monash University- Indigenous Women's Health Project.

Corporate Gifts and Merchandise

Marra Dreaming provides unique gifts and merchandise suitable for businesses, individuals, fundraising, corporate events and conferences. These gifts are authentic and hand painted by Aboriginal artists and are a great addition for corporate travellers and business people. Corporate gifts can be customized to suit any occasion.

Wooden Crosses

One of our more recent ventures has been the designing and painting of unique Aboriginal artwork on large wooden crosses. This has been really popular in schools and we have received such positive feedback. You can see some of our work at St. Brigid's Catholic School, Catherine McAuley School and St Martin's Catholic Primary School.

This piece of art was created by one of our artists, specifically designed for Community Centres SA Reconciliation Action Plan.

Sound of Hemp commissioned our artists to paint on their beautifully hand crafted didgeridoos.

Our artists painted a section of this car for the organisation Red Dust as part of a charity project which was then auctioned off.
