Aboriginal people have long used the Lemon Myrtle bush as a bush medicine for thousands of years. The leaves were chewed or crushed for their vitamins and minerals or applied to cuts and sores for their anti-fungal properties. It has a strong citrus aroma with a delicate hint of menthol which is quite refreshing.
