Story: "The Tears of a Yellow Rose come from the times of COVID. Hiding behind something you're not, the body is emotionally dysfunctional. The butterflies represent happiness & freedom. The rose is about love, family & memories. The stars are falling and she bleeds blue blood from the thorns, as her emotional pain is like water, ever changing."

Artist Profile: Johanna Roberts, also known as Joey, was born on Meru land (Berri), grew up in the Riverland and later on moved to the Barossa Valley region.  Here she developed a love of art, combining her Aboriginal and European cultures.  Her art connects her to her family & culture.
